MEDIA CENTER 

Please follow the directions below.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ONLY STUDENTS ENROLLED IN SAVS CLASSES ARE PERMITTED TO CHECKOUT EQUIPMENT FROM THE MEDIA CENTER.

1. Create and account on this website. 
2.  Read and sign our statement of financial responsibility form in order to check out any items. Please use the long number above the barcode on the back of your WildCat ID card as your membership ID. 
3. Items checked out from the Media Center are your responsibility. Handle them with care and return as you received them. Any parts missing or damaged will be your financial responsibility to replace. 
4. Loans are for 2 days. You will be charged a late fee of $5 per item for each day your item(s) are late. We accept cash, card, and Apple Pay as payment. 
5. If your balance reaches $40 or more, you will not be permitted to check out items until your fines are paid. Fines must be paid within 2 weeks. 
6. Plan ahead. Do not stop by the Media Center when you are in a hurry. The condition of the equipment will be checked at check-out and check-in.
7. Checked out items may be renewed once through your MYTURN account. If you need the items longer they must be brought back to the Media Center to be renewed. 
8. If there is a reservation on your item, you will need to return your item and will be unable to renew. 
9. If you know you need a certain piece of equipment for a certain day and you must have it, make a reservation to avoid disappointment. 
10. If you should lose any piece of equipment, you will be charged a replacement fee.
11. If an item becomes damaged while in your care, you will be charged for repair or replacement when repair is not possible.
12. To renew items if you can't make it in, email SAVSmediacenter@uky.edu.
